Chapter Philanthropy and Service
Our chapter is always fundraising! Each quarter we have one big philanthropy event that involves both our chapter and other members of the Northwestern community.
During the Fall Quarter we hold Think Pink Week, which includes a pumpkin carving contest and a bake sale.
Winter Quarter means it's time to Knock Out Breast Cancer! Our annual knock-out tournament involves music, pink lemonade, and of course dodgeball.
Each Spring Quarter on Mother's Day, we hold our annual Light the Way Luminaria Walk. Members of the Northwestern and Evanston community decorate paper ribbons that we then put on paper luminaria bags. At sunset, candlelit bags stretch for almost a mile up and down our campus.
We also have year-long philanthropy and service initiatives like collecting Yoplait Pink Lids, passing out pink ribbons at a Chicago Bears game, and participating in Greek-wide events like GreekBuild and Campus Kitchens.
